The Tennessee Titans announced that they have promoted OT Tyler Marz to their active roster and waived CB Kenneth Durden in a corresponding roster move.
Marz, 26, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in 2016.ย He spent his rookie season on the Titans’ practice squad before returning to Tennessee on a future/reserve contract.
Unfortunately, Marz was once again waived coming out of the preseason and added to the Titans’ practice squad. The Chargers later signed him to their active roster before cutting him loose.
Tennessee then signed him to their practice squad and he finished 2017 on the taxi squad. He re-signed with the team as an exclusive rights free agent this offseason. He was among the Titans’ final roster cuts and re-signed to their practice squad once clearing waivers.
Marz has yet to appear in an NFL game.
