Titans Second-Round OLB Kevin Dodd Will Miss OTAs After Foot Surgery

Titans HC Mike Mularkey announced that second-round OLBย Kevin Dodd underwentย preventative surgery on his right foot Thursday and willย miss OTAs, perย Jason Wolf.

However, the expectation is that Dodd will be back for the start of training camp.

Titans DC Dickย LeBeau said he hasย been pleased with Dodd’s performance in offseason workouts up to his point and isย anxious to get him back, per Terry McCormick.

Dodd, 22, was taken with the No. 32ย overall pickย by the Titans. At the start of day two, reports indicated that teams including the Cowboys were trying to trade up for pass rushers including Dodd. However, the Titansย elected to stay where they were and grab another edge rusher for their defense.

Dodd is one of two unsigned draft picks for the Titans, butย it’s likely that they’ll have him under contract in the next week or so.

During his four-year college career at Clemson, Dodd recorded 82 tackles, 26.5 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a recovery.
