The Tennessee Titans announced Friday that they’ve agreed to terms with former XFL G Avery Gennesy.
Gennesy, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Texas A&M back in 2017. He later signed a three-year contract with the Jaguars, but was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.
Jacksonville brought Gennesy back on a futures contract for the 2018 season before waiving him after the draft. He had a brief stint with the Browns before eventually signing on to the Broncos’ practice squad midseason.
From there, Gennesy joined the XFL for the 2020 season.
Gennesy appeared in five games for the Houston Roughnecks.
