Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders are trading FB Jamize Olawale to the Cowboys on Tuesday.
- According to Rapoport, the Cowboys get Olawale and a sixth-round pick from the Raiders for a fifth-round pick.
This is somewhat interesting, considering that the Raiders signed FB Keith Smith away from the Cowboys last year.
Olawale, 28, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas back in 2012. He lasted less than a year in Dallas before the Raiders signed him off of their practice squad.
Olawale is in the final year of his four-year, $6.66 million contract and set to make a base salary of $1.54 million for the 2018 season.
In 2017, Olawale appeared in 12 games for the Raiders and rushed for 43 yards on nine carries (3.6 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 33 yards receiving and one touchdown.
