Tom Pelissero reports that Washington traded a 2021 sixth-round pick in exchange for Sharpe and a 2021 seventh-round pick.
Sharpe, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed on to the Texans’ practice squad after clearing waivers.
Houston later promoted Sharpe to their active roster before waiving in 2018. He later claimed off of waivers by the Raiders and re-signed to a one-year deal as a restricted free agent this offseason.
In 2019, Sharpe appeared in nine games for the Raiders and made two starts.
