Zettel, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2016. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.463 million rookie contract when Detroit cut him loose at the start of the 2018 season.
The Browns quickly claimed him off waivers where he finished out the year. He was among Cleveland’s final roster cuts this preseason and was later on and off of the Bengals’ roster last year before the 49ers signed him to a contract in December.
Zettel signed on with the Vikings this past March.
In 2019, Zettel appeared in five games for the Bengals and 49ers, recording six total tackles and no sacks.
