The Vikings announced on Wednesday they have signed RB Tony Brooks-James to the practice squad.

Brooks-James, 25, signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon following a tryout at their rookie minicamp. Atlanta waived Brooks-James coming out of the preseason and he signed with the Buccaneers on their practice squad.
After being cut by Tampa Bay, Brooks-James caught on with the Steelers practice squad and was later promoted to the active roster. Pittsburgh waived him in November.
In 2019, Brooks-James appeared in three games with the Steelers and rushed eight times for seven yards and added 32 kickoff return yards.
During his four-year college career with the Ducks, Brooks-James recorded 283 rushing attempts for 1,863 yards (6.6 YPC) and 18 touchdowns to go along with 40 receptions for 392 yards receiving (9.8 YPC) and two touchdowns.
