The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday that they’ve signed TE Josiah Price and LS Nick Dooley and placed LB Shaan Washington on waivers.
Price, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract but was among the Vikings’ roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
During his college career at MSU, Price caught 104 passes for 1,238 yards receiving and 21 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 42 games.
Washington, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract but was among the Vikings’ roster cuts coming out of the preseason and later reverted to the team’s injured list where he remained for the 2017 season.
During his college career at Texas A&M, Washington recorded 269 tackles, 6.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, three recoveries and 11 pass defenses over the course of four years and 45 games.
