The Washington Football Team announced that they’ve signed WR Tony Brown to their active roster and promoted WR Jeff Badet and DT Devaroe Lawrence from their practice squad.
Washington also signed TE Marcus Baugh to their practice squad.

Brown, 23, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in May. Cleveland waived Brown after a couple of months and was claimed by the Giants.
New York cut Brown loose after a few weeks and he joined Washington. He was waived coming out of training camp before being re-signed to their practice squad.
During his college career at Texas Tech and Colorado, Brown caught 115 passes for 1,418 yards receiving to go along with 33 rushing yards on six attempts and eight total touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 36 games.
