Reggie Bush Has A Shot At Playing This Weekend

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Reggie Bush’s MRI revealed no structural damage in his knee, which will give him a shot at playing against the Arizona Cardinals this weekend.

Obviously, this is great news for the Dolphins, considering just how effective Bush has been for them. Moving forward with Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller would have left them with plenty of concerns. Bush could be held out of Week 4, but at least he should be ready in time for the team’s next game.

Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post reports that a source has informed him that RB Reggie Bush‘s knee is “nothing season-ending,” but the team seems to think that he may end up sitting out of a few games.

Bush took a shot to his left knee, which was previously injured back in 2007 when he suffered a torn PCL. Obviously, it’s a great sign that he suffered no major damage, but this opens to the door for backups Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller to share the workload while he recovers.

Thomas has had some fumble issues this season and Volin mentions that Miller still doesn’t have a complete grasp of the team’s playbook. Thomas will most likely get the start next week, but Miller has shown the ability to make plays, so the Dolphins may end up finishing the game with whoever’s producing.
