The New York Giants announced Saturday that they’ve signed DE Stansly Maponga off of the Falcons practice squad.
This moves comes just a day after the Giants surprisingly waived DE Damontre Moore on Friday.
Maponga, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Falcons back in 2013. He spent the first two years on the Falcons’ 53-man roster, but was unfortunately among their roster cuts at the start of the season.
Atlanta later added him to their practice squad a few days later.
In 2014, Maponga appeared in 12 games and recorded three tackles, a sack and two fumble recoveries for the Falcons.
