AFC Notes: Bengals, Bills, Colts, Ravens, & Steelers

Bengals

• Jason La Canfora expects the Bengals to have a long-term contract extension in place for WR A.J. Green before the start of the season.
• La Canfora adds that Green’s next deal will likely be in line with the contract extensions signed by Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas a few weeks ago.

Bills

Mike Rodak of ESPN.com takes a look at a Bills players could be on the roster bubble this summer.

Among the notable players are: OT Seantrel Henderson, G Cyril Richardson, S Bacarri Rambo, QB Matt Cassel, DL Alex Carrington, RB Bryce Brown, and FB John Conner.

Colts

• Several executives around the NFL have told Jason La Canfora that QB Andrew Luck‘s salary demands could be so astronomical that it leaves them in a bind with WR T.Y. Hilton.
• La Canfora expects Hilton to eventual secure a contract that will pay him an average salary of around $12M.

Ravens

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Ravens rookie RB Buck Allen has passed his physical and is now cleared to practice.

Steelers

Steelers LT Kelvin Beachum said he’s not letting his contract situation affect his approach to the 2015 season.

“Let the business people take care of the business stuff,” Beachum said, via Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
