Bengals
- According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, the NFL is concerned about the Bengals’ contact tracing data that shows them lagging far behind other NFL teams.
- A source told La Canfora: “You would see a chart and there might be a few teams at the top and a ton of teams all clustered together … and then the Bengals way down at the bottom.”
- La Canfora notes the Bengals training facilities at their stadium are a little sub-standard compared to what some other teams have. However, the NFL has asked teams to build tents in the parking lot and use outdoor spaces when needed.
Browns
- Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said QB Baker Mayfield injured ribs and will undergo an X-ray. (Nate Ulrich)
- When asked if he’ll play against the Steelers next week, Mayfield said: “Momma didn’t raise no wuss.” (Scott Petrak)
- Stefanski added that S Ronnie Harrison has a concussion, G Wyatt Teller has a calf strain and Jacob Phillips has knee injury. (Nate Ulrich)
Steelers
- Steelers WR Diontae Johnson took a direct blow to the back, but HC Mike Tomlin says he thinks he’ll be available next week. (Brooke Pryor)
- Tomlin added G David DeCastro is being evaluated and his availability in question for next week.
- Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey is also being evaluated for injury.
