AFC Notes: Bengals, Browns, Steelers

Bengals

  • According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, the NFL is concerned about the Bengals’ contact tracing data that shows them lagging far behind other NFL teams.
  • A source told La Canfora: “You would see a chart and there might be a few teams at the top and a ton of teams all clustered together … and then the Bengals way down at the bottom.”
  • La Canfora notes the Bengals training facilities at their stadium are a little sub-standard compared to what some other teams have. However, the NFL has asked teams to build tents in the parking lot and use outdoor spaces when needed.

Browns

Steelers

  • Steelers WR Diontae Johnson took a direct blow to the back, but HC Mike Tomlin says he thinks he’ll be available next week. (Brooke Pryor)
  • Tomlin added G David DeCastro is being evaluated and his availability in question for next week.
  • Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey is also being evaluated for injury.
