Dolphins

The Dolphins have three key players entering the final years of their contracts, including RB De’Von Achane, C Aaron Brewer and LB Jordyn Brooks. Miami GM Jon-Eric Sullivan called each of them the “pillars” they intend to build around. 

“Those are going to be the three kind of pillars that we build around: Achane, Brew, Brooks,” Sullivan said, via Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN. “They understand where they are, what we’re trying to get done. There’s an order that we’re going to handle the business in, but they know where they are and how important they are to us.”

• According to Mike Garafolo, Miami QB Carson Beck‘s visit schedule includes the Dolphins. This counts as a local visit. 

Jets

• Texas Tech QB Behren Morton will take a 30 visit with the Jets. (Arye Pulli)

Patriots

• Patriots HC Mike Vrabel was asked if a big move for someone like Eagles WR A.J. Brown is still an option: “We’ve talked about this since last January. We’re gonna try to do everything we can to strengthen our roster, through the draft, through free agency, and multiple ways of player acquisition. So anything that we can continue to do to strengthen the roster, we’re going to try to do.” (Doug Kyed)
