According to Ian Rapoport, the Bears are officially activated G Kyle Long from their injured reserve to the active roster on Saturday.
Long was expected to miss 6-8 weeks after suffering a foot injury in Week 8, so he was anticipated to return around this time.
The Bears designated him as their player to return from injured reserve last week.
Long, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bears back in 2013. He’s currently in the third year of his six-year, $50.358 million contract that included $30 million and stands to make a base salary of $6.9 million this season.
In 2018, Long has appeared in seven games for the Bears.
