The Chicago Bears have signed K Redford Jones to a contract on Friday after a workout that consisted of six free agents.
This is according to Jones’ agent:

The Bears made it clear that they were going to bring in competition for Cody Parkey this offseason and it appears as though Jones was impressive enough during the tryout to get the opportunity.
Jones wound up going undrafted out of Tulsa back in 2017. He never caught on with an NFL team during the season.
During his college career at Tulsa, Jones converted 50 of 67 field goal attempts (74.6 percent) to go along with 169 of 172 extra point tries (98.3 percent) over the course of three seasons and 38 games.
