The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they’ve signed 10 players to futures contracts for the 2020 season.
The full list includes:
- TE Nate Becker
- LB Tyrel Dodson
- WR Nick Easley
- CB Cam Lewis
- WR Ray-Ray McCloud
- LB Del’shawn Phillips
- T Victor Salako
- RB Christian Wade
- QB Davis Webb
- DE Jonathan Woodard
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Webb, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2017. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.61 million contract when the Giants waived him coming out of the preseason.
The Jets later signed Webb to their practice squad and brought him back last year on a one-year futures contract. However, he was later waived and signed to the Bills’ practice squad.
During his four-year college career with Texas Tech and California, Webb recorded 841 completions on 1,367 attempts (61.5 percent) for 9,852 passing yards (7.2 YPA), 83 touchdowns and 34 interceptions.
