The Denver Broncos have re-signed WR Hunter Sharp to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to Nicki Jhabvala.
The Broncos’ practice squad now consists of:
- S Dymonte Thomas
- CB Marcus Rios
- OLB Deiontrez Mount
- TE Austin Traylor
- RB Jonathan Williams
- DT Tyrique Jarrett
- WR Tim Patrick
- DT Kyle Peko
- C Gabe Ikard
- WRย Hunter Sharp
Sharp, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Utah State back in May before signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Eagles. He was waived from injured reserve with a settlement during the preseason last year.
The Broncos signed him to their practice squad late last season and brought him back on a future/reserve contract this past January. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Broncos’ practice squad.
Denver promoted him to their roster a few weeks ago, but elected to cut him loose this past weekend.
DIn 2017, Sharp has appeared in one game but has yet to catch a pass. He has 55 punt return yards.
