The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially waived TE Colin Jeter from injured reserve with a settlement on Thursday.
Jeter, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of LSU back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement when he was waived with an injury designation and later cut loose from injured reserve during the preseason.
The Buccaneers signed Jeter to a contract earlier in the month and later reverted to their injured reserve list.
During his college career at LSU, Jeter caught 23 passes for 310 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of two seasons and 16 games.
