The Arizona Cardinals announced a series of roster moves on Saturday for their Week 18 game against the 49ers.
The full list includes:
- Cardinals signed RB Ty’Son Williams and DL Eric Banks to their active roster.
- Cardinals elevated LS Hunter Bradley and S Josh Thomas to their active roster.
Williams, 26, went undrafted out of BYU following the 2020 NFL Draft. He caught on with the Ravens during training camp but was waived coming out of the preseason.
He returned to the team on the practice squad and spent most of the season on the unit. The Ravens re-signed Williams to a futures deal for the 2021 season and tendered him as an exclusive rights free agent this past March, but later withdrew the tender.
From there, Williams signed a one-year deal with the Colts this offseason but was released coming out of training camp. He joined the Cardinals in October.
In 2021, Williams appeared in 13 games for the Ravens and rushed 35 times for 185 yards (5.3 YPC) and one touchdown, adding nine receptions on 12 targets for 84 yards.
