The Kansas City Chiefs officially waived DB Javaris Davis and WR Cody White with non-football injury designations on Sunday.
The Chiefs placed DB Thakarius Keyes on the non-football injury list and added WR Aleva Hifo to the reserve/COVID-19 list.
It’s worth mentioning that Keyes still counts against the Chiefs’ 90-man roster.
Keyes, 22, was a two-year starter at Tulane. The Chiefs selected him in the seventh round of this year’s draft at No. 237 overall.
Keyes signed a four-year, $3,377,820 contract that includes a $82,820 signing bonus with the Chiefs.
During his four-year college career at Tulane, Keyes recorded 95 tackles, two interceptions, and 15 passes defended over the course of 28 games.
