Colts Worked Out Three Including DEs Shane Ray & Andre Branch

According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Colts brought in three free agents for tryouts on Monday including DE Shane Ray, DE Andre Branch and DT Eddie Vanderdoes.

Ray, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Broncos back in 2015. Denver declined to pick up his fifth-year option last year and he finished his four-year, $9.116 million rookie contract.

The Ravens signed Ray to a one-year, $1.2 million deal back in May. However, he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Since becoming a free agent, Ray has worked out for the Jets, Bears and Cardinals.

In 2018, Ray appeared in 11 games for the Broncos and recorded 10 tackles, a sack, and one forced fumble.

Branch, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Jaguars before signing a one-year, $3 million contract with the Dolphins in 2016.

From there, Branch agreed to return to Miami on a three-year, $27 million contract the following year. However, he was released by the Dolphins back in March and eventually caught on with the Cardinals this summer.

Unfortunately, Arizona released Branch coming out of the preseason.

In 2018, Brach appeared in 14 games for the Dolphins and recorded 25 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and a pass defense.
