The Dallas Cowboys officially placed K Tristan Vizcaino on waivers Wednesday, according to Rob Phillips.
It was clear that Vizcaino wasn’t going to be kicking for the Cowboys in 2020 after the team re-signed Kai Forbath and later added Greg Zuerlein in free agency.
Vizcaino, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Washington back in 2018. He did not sign on with an NFL team during the 2018 season, but later joined the Bengals on a futures contract last January.
Cincinnati waived Vizcaino coming ut of the preseason and he later signed another futures contract, this time with the Cowboys.
During his four-year college career, Vizcaino converted 12 of 20 field goal attempts (60 percent) and 49 of 52 extra point tries (94.2) over the course of 37 games. He also totaled 2,273 punt yards on 56 attempts (40.6 YPA).
