Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins are placing LB Kyle Van Noy, DL Christian Wilkins and practice squad WR Matt Cole on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
The Dolphins activated WR/RB Lynn Bowden from the list earlier in the day.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Wilkins, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2019. He signed a four-year, 15,439,100 contract with Miami that included a $9,248,436 signing bonus.
The Dolphins will have a fifth-year option to pick up on Wilkins in 2023.
In 2020, Wilkins has appeared in eight games for the Dolphins and recorded 28 tackles, one sack, an interception, a fumble recovery and five passes defended.
Van Noy, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Lions back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $5.1 million contract when the Lions traded Van Noy to the Patriots in October for a sixth-round pick in 2016.
Van Noy later signed a two-year extension with the Patriots. After finishing out that contract, he agreed to a four-year, $51 million contract with the Dolphins this past March.
In 2020, Van Noy has appeared in seven games for the Dolphins and recorded 33 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and four passes defended.
