Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that free agent TE Dwayne Allen is in Buffalo to meet with the Bills on Wednesday.
According to Anderson, Allen is currently scheduled to travel to Detroit for a meeting with the Lions later tonight.
Allen just wrapped up a visit with the Ravens on Monday, so his market is starting to take shape.
It’s worth mentioning that signing him to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.
Allen, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Colts back in 2012. He signed a four-year, $29.4 million contract that included $16 million with the Colts in 2016 before he was traded to the Patriots for the 2017 season.
The Patriots elected to release Allen on Monday.
In 2018, Allen appeared in 13 games for the Patriots and caught just three passes for 27 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
