The Philadelphia Eaglesย have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 53ย players. Here’s the list of roster cuts up to this point:

Bethel-Thompson, 27, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out ofย Sacramento State back in 2011.ย He has bounced around quite a bit since he entered the league, which includes short stints with the Dolphins, Vikings,ย Patriots andย the 49ers.
Philadelphia signed him to a contract back in February, but elected to cut him loose a few weeks afterย they used the No. 2 overall pick on Carson Wentz. Although, the Eagles brought him back in July.
Bethel-Thompson hasย yet to appear in an NFL game.

Tavarres, 23, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Incarnate Word back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Eagles and was stands to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.
During his senior season, Tavarres recorded 110 tackles, 8.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and five pass defenses.
