According to Adam Caplan, the Eagles will host Alabama RB Josh Jacobs on a pre-draft visit sometime next week.
Jacobs, 5-10, 216 lb, is widely seen as the top running back prospect in this year’s draft class. He could end up being a first-round pick in April’s draft.
Despite trading for RB Jordan Howard last week, the Eagles could still consider adding another running back in the draft.
The Eagles have the No. 25 overall selection in the first round.
During his three-year college career, Jacobs rushed for 1,491 yards on 251 carries (5.9 YPC) to go along with 48 receptions for 571 yards receiving and 21 total touchdowns over the course of 40 games. He also totaled 494 kick return yards and 27 punt return yards and two total touchdowns.
