Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that there are over half a dozen teams still in the mix for free agent G J.R. Sweezy right now.
- According to Getlin, one team to watch for Sweezy is the Broncos.
- D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitutionย reports that the Falcons are also in the mix for Sweezy.
A previous report mentioned that the market for him included: the Buccaneers, Falcons, Lions, Dolphins, Saints, 49ers, Jaguars, Bears, and Jets among others.
Sweezy, 26, was taken in the seventh-round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He’s played out his rookie contract and is now in position to be an unrestricted free agent in the coming weeks.
In 2015, Sweezy appeared in 15 games for the Seahawks and was rated by Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 69 guard out of 82 qualifying players.
