Injury Notes: Chargers, Cowboys, Lions, & Texans

Chargers

• Rand Getlin reports that Chargers OLB Tourek Williams broke his foot and will need surgery.

Cowboys

• Cowboys RB Gus Johnson sustained a shoulder injury during Thursday’s preseason game.
• Todd Archer reports that Cowboys TE James Hanna has an MCL sprain that could force him to miss “a little time.”

Lions

Lions HC Jim Caldwell told reporters that OL Darren Keyton suffered a “significant” knee injury in Thursday night’s preseason opener and could miss the entire 2015 season.

“It doesn’t look good for him,” Caldwell said after Thursday’s game, via Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com. “Obviously, I think it’s a pretty significant injury. I think he’ll be out for a while.”

Texans

• Aaron Wilson reports that Texans G Xavier Su’a-Filo “tweaked” his foot/ankle and will miss the team’s preseason opener against the 49ers on Saturday.
• However, Wilson adds that the injury is not considered to be a long-term issue for Su’a-Filo.
