Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Jets have claimed QB Luke Falk off of waivers from the Dolphins on Thursday.
Falk, 23, was selected with the No. 199 overall pick in the sixth round of this year’s draft by the Titans. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $2,608,832 contract that includes a $148,832 signing bonus.
Falk was among the Titans’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was later claimed off of waivers by the Dolphins. Miami elected to cut Falk loose on Wednesday.
During his four-year college career at Washington State, Falk threw for 14,481 yards while completing 68.3 percent of his passes to go along with 119 touchdowns and 39 interceptions over the course of 42 games.
