The New York Jets have re-signed three exclusive rights free agents on Thursday including QB Davis Webb, WR Deontay Burnett and DB Jeremy Clark, according to Field Yates.
Webb, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2017. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.61 million contract and set to make a base salary of $604,151 for the 2018 season when the Giants waived him coming out of the preseason.
The Jets later signed Webb to their practice squad before promoting him to their active roster in November.
During his four-year college career with Texas Tech and California, Webb recorded 841 completions on 1,367 attempts (61.5 percent) for 9,852 passing yards (7.2 YPA), 83 touchdowns and 34 interceptions.
