Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Kentucky DE/OLB Josh Allen will visit with the 49ers and Lions this week.
A prior report mentioned that Allen is also expected to meet with the Jets, Raiders, and Giants leading up to this year’s draft.
The 49ers own the No. 2 overall pick while the Lions are sitting at No. 8 overall.
Allen is considered to be one of the top pass rushers in a very deep 2019 draft class full of them. Many expect Allen to be a top-five pick when all is said done.
During his four-year college career at Kentucky, Allen recorded 220 tackles, 31.5 sacks, an interception, 11 forced fumbles, two recoveries and eight pass defenses over the course of 42 games.
