The Detroit Lions announced on Sunday they have signed former Packers WR Geronimo Allison.
According to Ian Rapoport, Allison’s deal is worth the veteran minimum for one year and includes a $910,000 base salary with a $137,500 signing bonus.

Allison stays within the division after testing the market as an unrestricted free agent. He’ll provide depth for Detroit’s receiving corps.
Allison, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in 2016. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad and eventually promoted to their active roster after Green Bay sustained some injuries at receiver.
Allison re-signed with Green Bay as a restricted free agent in 2019 and was testing the market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.
In 2019, Allison appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and caught 34 passes for 287 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
