Adam Schefter reports that the Lions are trading WR Jeremy Kerley to the 49ers in exchange for OL Brandon Thomas.
- Schefter adds that both players are pending physicals before the trade is finalized.
Kerley, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2011. He spent five years in New York before he was released back in March and later signed to a one-year contract worth over $1 million by the Lions.
In 2015, Kerley appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and totaled 16 receptions for 152 yards receiving and a touchdown. He also contributed 411 punt return yards.
Thomas, 25, was selected in the third-round by the 49ers in the 2014 NFL Draft and is entering the third-year of his four-year, $2.731 million rookie contract that included a $506,016 signing bonus.
He has yet to make an appearance during an NFL regular season game.
