Eagles
- According to Tim McManus, Eagles LBย Mychal Kendricks had surgery on his ankle Thursday in Green Bay.ย McManus says that this was a “clean-up”ย procedure that should only sideline him for a few weeks.

- Steve Wyche reports Eagles S Malcolm Jenkins underwent surgery to repair ligaments in his left thumb. According to Wyche, this was just “offseason maintenance” and he doesn’t expect to miss any time this offseason.
Packers
New Packers QB DeShone Kizer said Friday that he was “very surprised” by the news he was traded to Green Bay last week.
โVery surprised,โ said Kizer, via Packers.com.ย โWhen stuff like this happens, you really canโt be prepared for it. The only thing I really know is the situation I had in Cleveland but, obviously, very excited now. Looking back at it, I think itโs going to be an awesome opportunity to take a step back and learn from some great developers of the game and be around some great competitors and get back to winning the way I know how to.โ
Kizer added that he believes he’s throwing better now than he ever has after working withย throwing coach, Tom House.
โAfter going through the season we went through last year and having some accuracy things in college, I think I found my stroke,โ said Kizer. โI feel like Iโm throwing the ball the best Iโve ever thrown it right now, and now walking into a system that has been very quarterback friendly through the history of their organization, I think Iโll be able to go out and hopefully step up my game to another level and be able to become a more accurate passer.โ
Panthers

Seahawks
- Jason La Canfora reports that the Seahawks have engaged “several” teams about a trade for S Earl Thomas and their initial asking price was first- and third-round picks.
- According to La Canfora, Thomas wants a “healthy new deal” wherever he goes.
