- Lombardo expects third-round LB Lorenzo Carter to be part of the rotation at defensive end for the Giants in 2018, assuming he doesn’t win a job as a starting outside linebacker.
- Lombardo mentions that third-round DL B.J. Hill could be a rotational defensive lineman behind Damon Harrison and Dalvin Tomlinson this year.
- As for fourth-round QB Kyle Lauletta, Lombardo thinks he has a shot to win the Giants’ backup quarterback job.
