- Jason La Canfora reports that contract negotiations between the Buccaneers and DT Gerald McCoy are ongoing and there’s been “healthy dialogue” between the two sides.

- HC Bruce Arians told reporters that they would welcome RB Jonathan Dwyer back in the event he’s exonerated.
“Until he’s exonerated he will not be a member of this football team,” Arians said, per Josh Weinfuss. “If and when he is exonerated I will gladly take him back.“
- RB Andre Ellington (foot) returned to practice on Thursday on a limited basis.
- QB Carson Palmer (shoulder) also put in a limited practice today.

- WR/KR Devin Hester broke the NFL record previously held by Deion Sanders for the most return touchdowns in a career with 20.
