Eagles

• Eagles signed RB Kevin Monangai.

Giants

• Giants waived/injured TE Matt LaCosse.

Jets

• GM Mike Maccagnan said he is not “angry or upset” with Sheldon Richardson after his recent incident with resisting arrest and traffic charges.
• Maccagnan hinted that Richardson will receive counseling from team specialists. (Rich Cimini)

Redskins

• Veteran S Dashon Goldson received a $2.3 million roster bonus today, which was part of an amended contract upon his trade to the Redskins. (Field Yates)

Saints

Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan offered praise for first-round LB Stephone Anthony following his first padded practice on Saturday.

“The thing you gotta love about him is you heard him out there. He hits,” Ryan said of Anthony, via ESPN.com.

“I think he’s done a phenomenal job catching on,” Ryan added. “He’s being coached by Joe [Vitt], so you know he’s being coached hard and coached well. And it shows. This guy’s not flinching out there. He’s in front of the huddle, he’s not flinching, he’s not taking a step back.“
