PED Investigation

• Albert Breer reports that NFL has officially wrapped up their interviews with the players named in the Al Jazeera report.
• According to Breer, Mike Neal and James Harrison met with league officials yesterday, after investigators interviewed Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews.

Cowboys

On Thursday, TMZ reported that Cowboys rookie RB Ezekiel Elliott visited a marijuana dispensary “Herban Legends” in Seattle just hours before the team’s preseason game against the Seahawks.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked about the report to which he responded: “[I]t’s not good. It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”

“Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process,” Jones said, via ESPN. “But it’s not good. It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”

Raiders

• Jason Cole of B/R reports that part of the drama in Las Vegas with the Raiders is that Sheldon Adelson wants $750 million of public funding, while others believe a deal can get done with $650 million.

Steelers

• Jeremy Fowler reports that Steelers LB Vince Williams‘ new contract includes a $1.5 M signing bonus to go along with base salaries of $2 million in 2017 and 2018.
• Williams’ 2016 base salary remains the same at $675,000.
