Last week there was a report that suggested the Philadelphia Eagles had a sitting offer QB Kevin Kolb but from what Andy Reid is saying, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Eagles Insider tweets that Reid responded to question about the reported deal by saying that “that’s not where we’re at. Couldn’t even talk trade specifics.”
Reid also reiterated that he feels that Kolb is worth a first-round pick and seems set on recouping proportionate value in return for him.
Obviously, trade talks could be aided by the removal of the current lockout. Philadelphia is going to drive a hard bargain but all indications suggest that they’re willing to get a deal done at some point.
