Weston Hodkiewicz of the the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that the Packers have placed TE Ryan Taylor on waivers.
Taylor, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2011 out of North Carolina. He was entering the final year of his rookie contract.
Over the course of his four years with the Packers, Taylor has appeared in 50 games and caught eight passes for 45 yards receiving and a touchdown. He has been a regular contributor to the Packers’ the special-teams unit since entering the NFL.
