According to Rob Demovsky, the Packers worked out five players on Monday including S Stefan McClure.
The full list of tryouts for the Packers includes:
- S Donte Carey
- S Malik Golden
- S Stefan McClure
- S Zack Richardson
- LB Nigel Harris
McClure, 24, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of California back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.
The Colts brought McClure back on a future/reserve contract only to cut him loose after this year’s draft.
The Redskins signed McClure to a contract during the preseason before placing him on injured reserve a few months into the regular season. After he was waived from injured reserve with a settlement, McClure had a brief stint on the Lions’ practice squad.
In 2017, McClure has appeared in seven games and recorded three tackles and no interceptions for the Redskins.
