The Oakland Raiders announced that they’ve signed first-round S Johnathan Abram to a four-year rookie contract.

Abram, 22, was the No. 27 overall pick by the Raiders out of Mississippi State. He was the first safety selected in the 2019 NFL Draft.
According to OverTheCap.com, Abram receives a four-year, $11,495,198 rookie contract including a $6,380,144 signing bonus.
He is a hard-hitting safety who Lance Zierlein compares to the Falcons’ Keanu Neal.
Abram transferred to Mississippi State from Georgia following his freshman year. In two years for the Bulldogs, Abram recorded 170 tackles, five sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and 10 passes defensed in 25 games.
