Raiders Tried Out Six Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Oakland Raiders brought in six free agents for workouts this week.

The full list of tryouts for the Raiders includes:

1. K Daniel Carlson
2. OT Darius James
3. OT Jamar McGloster
4. OT De’Ondre Wesley
5. G Maurquice Shakir
6. G Isaiah Williams

Of this group, the Raiders signed Carlson to their active roster.

Williams, 25, originally signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Akron back in 2016. He was among Washington’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.

The Redskins brought Williams back on a one-year futures contract but he was, once again, cut as the team trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit last year.

After brief stints with the Chiefs and Colts, Williams in May but was released at the start of the regular season.

Williams has yet to appear in an NFL game.
