Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders have placed QB Connor Cook on waivers Saturday as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
Cook, 24, was taken by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. he was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.959 million contract and was set to earn a base salary of $630,000 this season.
In 2016, Cook appeared in one game and thrown for 150 yards while completing 14 of 21 passing attempts to go along with one touchdown and one interception.
