According to Adam Caplan, the Raiders brought in free agent fullbacks Tommy Bohanon and Derrick Coleman for workouts earlier in the week.
The Raiders have FB Keith Smith on the active/non-football injury list with a knee issue right now, which has led to rookie Alec Ingold seeing time with the first-team offense.
Coleman, 28, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Minnesota before signing on to the Seahawks’ practice squad during the 2012 season and returned to the team on a future/reserve contract the following year.
The Falcons signed Coleman to a one-year contract for the 2017 season and later caught on with the Cardinals last year.
In 2018, Coleman appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and rushed for three yards on two carries to go along with two receptions for 17 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
Bohanon, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jets back in 2013. He spent three years in New York before he was waived at the start of the 2016 season.
Bohanon later caught on with the Jaguars for the 2017 season and has spent the past three seasons in Jacksonville.
In 2018, Bohanon appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars and caught six passes for 41 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
