According to Myles Simmons, the Rams have waived OT Darrell Williams.
Williams, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky back in 2017.
He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the 49ers cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
The 49ers declined to tender Williams as an exclusive rights free agent and he signed with the Rams. He landed on their practice squad after failing to make the final roster and was signed to a futures deal back in February.
Williams appeared in 7 games for the 49ers in 2017.
