The Washington Redskins announced Monday that they’ve placed WR Robert Davis on injured reserve and signed WR Dan Williams III to a contract.
Davis recently sufferedย aย broken leg and torn LCL, so this move was expected.
Davis, 23, is a sixth-round pick by the Redskins out of Georgia State in the 2017 NFL Draft. He is entering the second year of his four-year, $2.53 million rookie contract and set to earn a base salary of $555,000 this season.
He has appeared in one career game for Washington.
During his four-year college career, Davis recordedย 222 receptions for 3,391 yards receiving (15.3 YPC) and 17 touchdowns.
