Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the future of Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley could be decided in Week 4.
Appearing on GameDay Morning, Rapoport mentioned that the London game against the Vikings will be “crucial” for Haley moving forward as the Steelers currently sit o-3 and will be heading into a bye week after the game against Minnesota.
Through the first three weeks of the season, the Steelers are 27th in total offense and 30th in the running game, which is a surprise given Pittsburgh’s preferred style of play.
While Haley isn’t expected to be fired yet, do so during the bye would be the best opportunity to for the team to move in a direction given that they would have two weeks to establish get someone else acclimated the best they can.
We’ll have more on this topic throughout the week.
